MINSK, 6 August (BelTA) – Belarus and the United Arab Emirates are considering a possibility to simplify visa procedures, BelTA learnt from the Belarusian Embassy in the UAE.
The topic was discussed at the meeting between
Minister-Counselor of the Belarusian Embassy in the UAE Sergei Belogortsev and Mr Fayiz Mubarak bin Sabah Al Ketbi, Deputy Director of the Consular Services Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the UAE. The meeting took place in Abu Dhabi on 6 August. Top on the agenda was cooperation between the consular services of Belarus and the UAE and ways to ease visa regulations.Belarus emphasized the need to take measures to liberalize the visa regulations in order to ramp up bilateral contacts in all the fields, including business, trade and tourism.
