Belarus, Turkey keen to advance dialogue at various levels

MINSK, 25 March (BelTA) – Belarusian First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Belarus Mustafa Ozcan on 25 March, the ministry’s press service told BelTA.

Sergei Aleinik and Mustafa Ozcan discussed a number of topical matters concerning Belarus-Turkey cooperation.

Sergei Aleinik and Mustafa Ozcan also exchanged congratulations on the 30th anniversary since Belarus-Turkey diplomatic relations were established. They noted mutual eagerness to further reinforce bilateral interaction and advance dialogue at various levels.

The protocol on establishing diplomatic relations between Belarus and Turkey was signed in Helsinki, Finland on 25 March 1992.
