Belarus, Turkey discuss bilateral, multilateral cooperation

MINSK, 18 November (BelTA) – Belarus and Turkey discussed cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Belarus Mustafa Ozcan to discuss a number of issues related to the Belarusian-Turkish cooperation in the bilateral and multilateral formats,” the ministry said.

The parties made focus on the development of trade and economic cooperation, including the implementation of agreements reached during the official visit of Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko to Turkey in 2019.

The parties also exchanged opinions on a wide range of issues on the international agenda.
