Belarus to suspend participation in CFE Treaty

MINSK, 23 April (BelTA) - The resolution of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus provides for the adoption of the draft law “On Suspension of the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (CFE Treaty)”, BelTA learned from document No.38-P8/I of 17 April 2024 officially published on the National Legal Internet Portal on 23 April.

“The House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus decides to adopt the draft law of the Republic of Belarus “On Suspension of the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe”, the document says.

The bill will be sent to the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly.
