Belarus to propose security initiatives at Helsinki conference

MINSK, 31 July (BelTA) – A Belarusian delegation headed by Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Igor Sekreta is participating in events to mark the 50^th anniversary of the Helsinki Final Act, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.

The events are taking place in the capital of Finland, Helsinki and will run until 1 August.

"During the discussions on the future of the OSCE, the head of the Belarusian delegation will present Minsk’s assessments and proposals to overcome regional security crisis and improve the effectiveness of the OSCE’s work," the ministry’s press service stated.
