MINSK, 16 November (BelTA) – Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yevgeny Shestakov will take part in the eighth round of the Informal Ministerial Dialogue of the countries participating in the Eastern Partnership initiative in Yerevan on 17 November, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The forum will include two segments, namely a discussion of the prospects of multilateral cooperation with the participation of the ministers of foreign affairs of the Eastern Partnership countries and a thematic meeting of the heads of the ministries coordinating scientific research and innovations. The second event will discuss opportunities for strengthening the cooperation with the European Union in science and innovations.
Chairman of the State Science and Technology Committee of Belarus Alexander Shumilin will also take part in the forum.
The first Eastern Partnership Informal Ministerial Dialogue was held in 2012.
