MINSK, 27 January (BelTA) – Belarus and Thailand are talking over possible facilitation of visa procedures between the two countries. The matter was discussed at a meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Vietnam with the concurrent accreditation to Thailand Valery Sadokho and Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs of Thailand Virasakdi Futrakul in Bangkok on 27 January, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic and humanitarian areas, including the exchange of visits of delegations, further expansion of the legal framework, the completion of procedures of the mutual appointment of honorary consuls. The meeting also highlighted the issues related to the establishment of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation.
The parties exchanged opinions on the key issues of the regional and international agenda.
