Belarus, Switzerland show interest in intensifying political dialogue

MOSCOW, 14 April (BelTA) – Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Vladimir Semashko and Ambassador of Switzerland to Russia Krystyna Marty Lang expressed interest in developing Belarus-Switzerland political dialogue as they met in Moscow on 13 April, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia.

“The parties exchanged opinions about the status of the bilateral relations and expressed mutual interest in intensifying the political dialogue and expanding cooperation in trade, economy, investment, humanitarian affairs, and other fields,” the embassy said.

“Vladimir Semashko informed Krystyna Marty Lang about Belarus’ priority avenues of work and goals within the framework of such integration associations as the Union State [of Belarus and Russia] and the Eurasian Economic Union,” the press service added.
