Belarus, Sudan map out steps to enhance agricultural, industrial cooperation

MINSK, 3 February (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Egypt and concurrently to Sudan Sergei Terentyev met with Minister of Finance and Economic Planning of Sudan Dr. Jibril Ibrahim Mohamed and Director General of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development affiliated with the League of Arab States Prof. Ibrahim Adam Ahmed Al-Dakhiri, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed the current state of relations between Belarus and Sudan with a particular focus on trade, economic and financial cooperation.

The parties mapped out steps to enhance cooperation between Belarus and Sudan in promising areas such as agriculture, food security, manufacturing industry and water resources, and identified the ways to intensify contacts through relevant agencies.
