Belarus, South Korea discuss preparations for high-level visits

MINSK, 26 March (BelTA) – The Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Korea have discussed the organization of high-level visits, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.

These matters and other ones were discussed as Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Belarus Kim Yong Ho. Vladimir Makei mentioned the ambassador’s fruitful work to expand bilateral interaction, particularly in the sphere of investments, trade, cooperation in science and culture.

Prospects of enabling more favorable conditions for bilateral trade and facilitating mutual travels of citizens were also mentioned during the meeting. The sides underlined the promising nature and the great potential for further advancement of not only cooperation in trade and science but also investment cooperation, which is possible thanks to a broad spectrum of preferential regimes in Belarus, including the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone.

The sides agreed to continue supporting and expanding contacts at all levels of interaction.
