MINSK, 21 December (BelTA) – Belarus and Slovenia confirmed mutual readiness for further intensification of political dialogue. The matter was discussed at the meeting between Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alena Kupchyna and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Slovenia to the Russian Federation with concurrent accreditation in Belarus Primoz Seligo, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties exchanged their views on current state and prospects for bilateral relations, and also the issues regarding the Belarus-EU dialogue.
The sides reaffirmed mutual readiness for further enhancement of political dialogue, including exchange of mutual visits, economic and investment cooperation, expansion of the legal framework.
The parties discussed the preparations for the next session of the Belarus-Slovenia intergovernmental commission on trade, economic and scientific cooperation which is due in Ljubljana in H1 2016.
