MINSK, 1 October (BelTA) – Belarus has signed the Code of Conduct for the Achievement of a Terrorism-Free World in the UN General Assembly, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.

According to the source, the document has been initiated by Kazakhstan. It has been signed by about 70 countries, including Belarus. The document is designed to bolster the global effort to prevent and counteract terrorism in all forms and manifestations. The main goal of the document is supposed to be reached by honoring the existing international commitments, by stepping up global and regional cooperation in this field, and by eliminating conditions conducive to the initiation of terrorism.
