Belarus, Serbia agree on tight cooperation in education

MINSK, 2 December (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Serbia Valery Brylev met with First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development of Serbia Branko Ruzic, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.

Valery Brylev and Branko Ruzic discussed the state and prospects of advancing Belarus-Serbia cooperation in education, science, and technology. They expressed mutual interest in stepping up the relevant cooperation, including exchange programs for university students and further implementation of the Belarus-Serbia intergovernmental program on cooperation in education.

Belarus and Serbia are expected to pay close attention to the implementation of the two-year-long executive program on cooperation in R&D and innovations and the previously agreed joint scientific and R&D projects.

The sides also stated the high potential of Belarus-Serbia cooperation in the sphere of information technologies.
