Belarus seeks to cooperate with Venezuela in construction, agriculture, food production

MINSK, 22 May (BelTA) – Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Karankevich held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Republic of Belarus Franklin Ramirez Araque on 22 May, the government’s press service told BelTA.

Relations between Belarus and Venezuela have always been marked by an exceptionally friendly tone and a high level of trust in interstate dialogue. The Belarusian side is ready to continue building a close interstate partnership with Venezuela on the same principles that have always underpinned bilateral cooperation: mutual trust, respect, support and solidarity.

Belarus is prepared for mutually beneficial cooperation in construction, agriculture, food production, and other promising areas of partnership.

Ambassador Franklin Ramirez Araque’s significant role in maintaining the friendly Belarusian-Venezuelan interstate dialogue and developing interagency cooperation was highlighted in connection with the completion of his diplomatic mission in Belarus.
