Belarus-Saudi economic cooperation discussed in Moscow

Moscow, 5 August (BelTA) – Belarusian  Ambassador of to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik held a meeting with Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Russia and concurrently to Belarus Abdulrahman Bin Suleiman Al Ahmed in Moscow, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian diplomatic mission.

"The parties considered topical issues on the bilateral agenda, in particular cooperation in politics, trade and economy, the development of the legal framework and the schedule of the upcoming contacts. In the context of the agreements reached at the third meeting of the Belarusian-Saudi intergovernmental committee held in May 2024, Ambassador Aleksandr Rogozhnik suggested taking concrete steps to boost trade and economic cooperation, including by signing bilateral framework documents. He identified machine building, agriculture, industrial cooperation as promising areas for cooperation," the press service noted.

"Ambassador Abdulrahman Bin Suleiman Al Ahmed noted the importance of developing the whole range of relations between Belarus and Saudi Arabia and expressed his hope that the bilateral interaction will keep the momentum,” the mission added.
