MINSK, 18 May (BelTA) – Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Karankevich held a meeting with Russia’s Sverdlovsk Oblast Governor Denis Pasler in Minsk on 18 May, the government press service told BelTA.
The parties discussed the momentum in bilateral cooperation, outlined the prospects for further development of relations and reviewed opportunities to increase mutual supplies of goods and broaden their product range.
Among the key areas of cooperation identified between Belarus and Sverdlovsk Oblast were industrial cooperation, supplies of passenger transport, freight, special-purpose and agricultural machinery, as well as construction, including the metro project in Yekaterinburg.
