MOGILEV, 4 September (BelTA) – An international conference “Agricultural policy of the Union State: Best practices, challenges and prospects” will take place at Belarusian State Agricultural Academy in the town of Gorky on 6-7 September. The event is timed to the 5^th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia, BelTA learned from the Council of the Republic.

The plenary session will discuss innovative systems in cattle breeding in Belarus and Russia, in particular, a possibility to set up common specialized selection and genetic centers. Another area of focus will be cooperation in developing new agricultural machinery and improvement of vocational training and higher learning in the field of agriculture in Belarus and Russia.

The participants of the conference will put forward proposals to the final document of the 5^th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia.

An exposition of foodstuffs and technical means of Belarusian agribusiness will be arranged during the conference.
