Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich and Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev“The Union State format enables accelerated integration, which is very important. There is quite successful experience of the Union State construction and this helps promote multilateral cooperation, including the Eurasian Economic Union,” Mikhail Myasnikovich said.

The Belarusian Premier believes that the Union State should revisit the issues related to the single industrial policy and import substitution. “These matters were to a certain extent discussed by the High-Level Group. We share the approaches suggested by the group. Indeed, the geopolitical situation clearly shows that we need to pick up speed and move forward,” Mikhail Myasnikovich said. The Premier meant the establishment of competitive joint ventures in mechanical engineering, petroleum chemistry, fiber production, microelectronics, pharmaceutics and other fields.
