MINSK, 29 March (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 121 “On the organization of the enrollment campaign in 2018” on 29 March, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

In accordance with the decree, a state commission to monitor the preparations for the enrollment campaign in universities and colleges in 2018 has been established.

The commission included members of the government, the Council of the Republic, and the House of Representatives, heads of state administration bodies, representatives of public organizations, workers of supervisory bodies. Deputy Prime Minister Vasily Zharko will lead the commission.

It will monitor the preparations for centralized tests and other forms of enrollment tests. It will also make sure that all university and college applicants are given equal opportunities.

The commission will also take measures to prevent violations of the legislation regulating the organization and holding of enrollment tests, organize the mass media coverage of the enrollment campaign, and hold meetings with people to discuss any issues concerning the enrollment campaign.
