MINSK, 2 December (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to President of the United Arab Emirates Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan as the country celebrates National Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“I am pleased to note that every year our relations become deeper and acquire strategic importance,” the head of state remarked. “I am convinced that by joint efforts we will be able to open new horizons in mutually beneficial cooperation.”

The Belarusian president also sent letters of greetings to Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
