MINSK, 8 September (BelTA) – President Alexander Lukashenko approval rating is at 76.6%, according to the relevant opinion poll conducted by the Information and Analysis Center in August 2015, BelTA has learned.

A total of 1,006 respondents took part in the survey. The statistical error was less than 3%.

Some 74.1% of Belarusians believe that the decisions that the President makes meet the interests of the common people.

Some 77.1% of the respondents agree that Alexander Lukashenko’s policies lead the country in the right direction. As many as 1,608 people took part in the second poll with a margin of error of +/- 2.5%.
