MINSK, 17 August (BelTA) - The Polish-Belarusian intergovernmental coordinating commission on cross-border cooperation held a working meeting on 16 August, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Belarusian delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yevgeny Shestakov. The Polish delegation was led by Deputy Minister of the Interior and Administration Bartosz Grodecki.
The parties exchanged views on the situation at the state border, its development trends and problematic issues affecting border security. The delegations also discussed the development of the legal and contractual framework in the border area.
The parties reached an agreement to continue cooperation.
