MINSK, 29 October (BelTA) – Belarus’ Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov will take part in the meeting of the CIS Heads of Government Council to be held on 29 to 30 October in Dushanbe, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Council of Ministers.
Most of the matters on the agenda for the meeting are related to the development of economic cooperation. These include the implementation of the CIS Free Trade Zone Agreement, the activities of industry-specific agencies in the sector of economy, events to implement the third stage of the CIS Economic Development Strategy, matters of innovation cooperation, competition on commodity markets, telecommunication, power engineering, and securities market. The meeting will also discuss a number of financial documents.
Besides, the press service of the CIS Executive Committee said that the heads of government will discuss documents regulating international youth cooperation and cooperation in sports and physical training, education, provision of medical and social care for veterans, and prevention and management of emergencies.
