Belarus, Pakistan to boost military-technical ties

MINSK, 1 July (BelTA) – State Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Volfovich met with Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff of the Pakistan Air Force, on 1 July, BelTA has learned.

During the talks, the parties exchanged views on pressing issues of the international and regional agenda and discussed a range of areas for bilateral cooperation in the military and military-technical spheres.

They expressed interest in developing mutually beneficial cooperation between Belarus and Pakistan on the basis of trust, respect and due regard for each other’s interests, and also identified promising areas for future interaction.

The state secretary of the Security Council reaffirmed Belarus’ readiness to facilitate the development of interagency relations and to address a variety of matters through the defense ministries of the two countries.
