MINSK, 11 January (BelTA) – Belarus’ Defense Minister Andrei Ravkov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Belarus Masud Khan Raja on 11 January. The parties confirmed their readiness to strengthen the military cooperation between the two countries, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Defense Ministry.
“During the meeting the parties discussed the status and prospects for further development of the Belarusian-Pakistani relations in the military field, and also reaffirmed the willingness to strengthen cooperation in the areas of mutual interest,” the Ministry said.
Earlier Andrei Ravkov held a protocol meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to Belarus Kubanychbek Omuraliev to discuss the development of relations in the military field. The two countries will continue to develop cooperation.
