MINSK, 7 February (BelTA) – Belarus’ Ambassador to Russia Igor Petrishenko met with Nigeria’s Ambassador to Russia with concurrent accreditation to Belarus Steve Davies Ugbah in Moscow on 6 February, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed the prospects for the Belarusian-Nigerian cooperation. Special attention was attached to the development of the legal framework of bilateral relations.

The diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on 3 August 1992. The bilateral trade made up $27 million in 2017.
