MINSK, 24 March (BelTA) – Consultations between representatives of the Belarusian army and a NATO delegation took place in Minsk to discuss Belarus’ participation in NATO’s Partnership for Peace program’s Planning and Review Process (PARP), the press service of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.
According to the source, during the negotiations the sides discussed a draft new package of partnership goals for the next two-year period. A number of practical matters concerning their accomplishment were specified. Ways to improve cooperation between the Defense Ministry and NATO’s structures as part of the Partnership for Peace program were discussed.
The NATO delegation praised the Defense Ministry’s serious work as part of the Partnership for Peace program and the comprehensive approach to organizing and implementing the program.
