MINSK, 15 December (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Australia Viktor Shikh visited Sydney on 12 to 14 December, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Belarusian diplomat met with the executive staff of the Reserve Bank of Australia, the Department of Trade and Investment of the Prime Minister and the Cabinet of Ministers of the State of New South Wales, and members of the association of wool producers Australia Wool Innovation.

The sides discussed prospects for the development of the Belarusian-Australian cooperation in trade and economy, and implementation of investment projects in Belarus by the Australian side. Viktor Shikh also met with the business circles of the State of New South Wales to consider the possibility of organizing a Belarusian national expo in Australia.
