MOSCOW, 1 November (BelTA) – Belarus and Montenegro have plans to boost bilateral cooperation in all fields, the press service of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia told BelTA after a meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Igor Petrishenko and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Montenegro to Russia Igor Jovovic in Moscow on 1 November.
“The parties discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in politics, economy, humanitarian affairs, and develop the legal framework of the bilateral relations,” the press service said.
The diplomatic relations between Belarus and Montenegro were established on 8 August 2006. In 2015, the bilateral trade totaled $2 million.
