MINSK, 5 April (BelTA) - Belarus shares Russia's vision of building a more balanced and equitable multi-polar world order. This is how the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has assessed the updated concept of Russia's foreign policy, BelTA has learned.

“We have carefully studied the text of the recently approved concept of the foreign policy of the Russian Federation. This doctrinal document comprehensively reflects the fundamental changes in world politics. It clearly outlines the strategic interests of Russia, including in the context of the development of relations with key allies and partners, as well as in deepening the relevant integration processes,” the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the coincidence of the approaches of Minsk and Moscow on the key issues of the international agenda. “We share the vision of Russia regarding the construction of a more balanced and equitable multi-polar world order. We also proceed from the rejection of hegemony in international affairs, the inadmissibility of intervention in the internal affairs of sovereign states and the imposition of their development models, ideological and value systems on other countries. We fully support the principle of indivisibility of security in the global and regional aspects,” the ministry said.

The ministry also welcomed Russia's declared readiness to support allies and partners in promoting common interests and ensuring their security and sustainable development as a strategic goal. “We especially note Moscow's commitment to the development of strategic cooperation and deepening of the integration processes with the Republic of Belarus. Belarus is reciprocal in this matter,” the ministry said.
