Belarus, Luxembourg plan to expand political contacts

MINSK, 20 April (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Belgium Andrei Evdochenko met with Jean Olinger, Director of Political Affairs at the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Gaston Stronck, Director for International Economic Relations and European Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to discuses the prospects for stepping up political contacts between the two countries on 19 April, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“The diplomats discussed further development of the relations between Belarus and Luxembourg, including political contacts, inter-agency cooperation, and improving of the legal framework,” the press service informed.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that special attention was paid to the cooperation in trade, economic and banking areas, interaction through investment funds and Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the development of information and communication technologies.
