MINSK, 19 November (BelTA) - The House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus adopted a bill to ratify the agreement with Pakistan on military-technical cooperation and the agreement with Pakistan on mutual legal assistance in civil and economic matters, BelTA has learned.

The agreement on military-technical cooperation applies to the production, repair, upgrade, maintenance and transfer of military products. It also applies to the training of troops, exchange of experience in research, etc. The document is needed to create the conditions for the work of Belarusian military-industrial enterprises in the arms market of Pakistan.

As regards the agreement on mutual legal assistance, it will enable the competent authorities of Pakistan and Belarus to fulfill the requests, including for equal access to justice, service of documents, the taking of evidence, etc.
