Belarus-Kazakhstan Business Council to hold videoconference meeting on 24 November

MINSK, 9 November (BelTA) - The Belarus-Kazakhstan Business Council will hold a videoconference meeting on 24 November, BelTA has learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Kazakhstan

"The council is set to discuss the state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in various sectors, to exchange experience of working at a time of the pandemic and to outline ways of cooperation in the near future," the Belarusian embassy said.

The meeting will take place under the auspices of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce (BelCCI) and Industry and the Chamber of Commerce of Kazakhstan. The meeting will be opened by BelCCI head Vladimir Ulakhovich and by Ayan Yerenov, the Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of International Trade of Kazakhstan. The event will be attended by Belarusian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Pavel Utyupin and Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Belarus Askar Beisenbayev, representatives of government bodies and business communities of the two countries.

Representatives of Belarusian and Kazakhstani enterprises and organizations will be able to address the speakers, ask questions and exchange opinions during the online meeting.

The Belarus-Kazakhstan relations are strategic, based on mutual trust and respect. The main document defining the priority areas of bilateral efforts to develop interstate relations is the Treaty on Friendship and Cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Kazakhstan signed in Minsk on 17 January 1996. The bilateral legal framework features more than 80 international agreements between the two countries. Bilateral dialogue at the high and highest levels, inter-parliamentary and inter-regional cooperation have been developing dynamically.
