Belarus, Japan’s Nagano Prefecture discuss interregional cooperation

MINSK, 12 July (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Japan Ruslan Yesin is visiting Nagano Prefecture on 12-14 July, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Tokyo.

On 12 July, Ambassador Ruslan Yesin met with Seiji Yanagida, the mayor of the city of Saku, to discuss interregional cooperation, economic cooperation with Belarus, and joint activities in education, science, sport, and culture.

Ambassador Ruslan Yesin also held negotiations over supplies of Belarusian malt and other products to Japan with representatives of regional companies.

During the visit, the ambassador will brief representatives of the local chamber of commerce and industry and business associations about Belarus’ economic capacities.
