MINSK, 9 November (BelTA) - Belarus and Iran identified further steps to implement the roadmap for bilateral cooperation. This matter was high on the agenda of a meeting between Belarusian Ambassador to Iran Yury Lazarchik and Director General for the Commonwealth of Independent States and Caucasus at the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Gholamreza Mesbahi-Moghadam, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.
“The two parties discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest and exchanged views on the status and prospects of development of the Belarusian-Iranian relations. Particular attention was paid to the ways of intensifying bilateral cooperation within the framework of the roadmap for bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Islamic Republic of Iran for 2016-2017. Concrete actions for its further implementation were outlined,” the press service informed.
