Belarus interested in pragmatic interaction of Eastern Partnership countries

MINSK, 23 May (BelTA) – Belarus is interested in the pragmatic interaction of Eastern Partnership Initiative countries, BelTA learned from Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei on 23 May.

The minister stressed that Belarus is interested in gearing the Eastern Partnership Initiative towards pragmatic interaction, towards concrete benefits for people.

Belarus has submitted a number of proposals meant to invigorate the initiative’s work, which is being discussed in the European Union. The minister of foreign affairs explained that the Belarusian side had suggested projects, which could be implemented within the framework of the Eastern Partnership Initiative. “We pay close attention to matters of cooperation in the sphere of development of digital economy, small and medium business,” said Vladimir Makei.
