MINSK, 7 September (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to Brazil President Michel Temer as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“In spite of the geographical distance, Brazil has been and remains a crucial economic partner in Latin America for Belarus. We are optimistic about the future of our cooperation and are interested in the serious intensification of contacts in the economy, politics, science and technology, culture and other fields,” the message of greetings reads.
