MINSK, 26 May (BelTA) –Barnaul hosted the fourth meeting of the bilateral commission for the coordination of cooperation between Belarus and Altai Krai of Russia. It was chaired by Belarus First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexander Mikhnevich and First Deputy Governor of Altai Krai Sergei Loktev, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"The meeting discussed the state and prospects of cooperation between Belarus and Altai Krai in manufacturing industry, agriculture, education and tourism, and also the supplies of agricultural machinery and passenger transport vehicles. Following the meeting the parties signed a protocol on the measures to expand mutually beneficial cooperation,” the press service noted.

The Belarusian delegation led by Belarus First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexander Mikhnevich is in Russia’s Altai Krai on a visit on 25-27 May. When in Barnaul the Belarusian delegation also visited the enterprises assembling Belarusian machinery.
