Belarus hosts 4,065 visa-waiver visitors from Europe over past week

MINSK, 16 December (BelTA) – Belarus hosted 4,065 European visitors as part of the visa-waiver program over past week, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee.

A total of 1,019,193 European residents have visited Belarus since 15 April 2022. They included 319,950 people from Latvia, 583,177people from Lithuania, 102,790 people from Poland and 13,276 citizens from the 35 countries which were added to the visa waiver program on 19 July 2024.

The border committee also recalled that the head of state extended the visa-waiver program for citizens of 38 European countries. Foreigners will be able to come to Belarus without a visa until 31 December 2025.
