Belarus hopes to continue productive dialogue with Italy

MINSK, 2 June (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to Italy President Sergio Mattarella as the country celebrates National Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The head of state emphasized that Belarus and Italy have good traditions of friendly and constructive relations which have advanced significantly and acquired additional value in recent years.

“Today there are no objective obstacle for even greater enhancement of bilateral contacts between our countries in various fields, such as the manufacturing sector and agriculture, science and technology, education and tourism. I strongly hope to continue productive dialogue with you, including in hospitable Belarus,” the president remarked.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Sergio Mattarella health and every success in his responsible job. He also wished friendly Italian people peace and wellbeing.
