Belarus’ FM in New York to take part in UNGA 76

MINSK, 22 September (BelTA) – Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei is visiting New York on September 21-28 to participate in the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 76), BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The foreign minister will speak at the General Debate of the 76th session of UNGA 76 and the UN Food Systems Summit and will take part in the ministerial meeting of the Group of friends in defense of the Charter of the United Nations where he will raise the topic of unilateral measures.

Vladimir Makei is set to hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts from Europe, Latin America, Southeast Asia and senior members of the United Nations on the sidelines of the General Assembly session.
