Belarus’ first deputy FM meets with Charge d'Affaires of Israel

MINSK, 27 November (BelTA) – Belarusian First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lukashevich met with Charge d'Affaires of the State of Israel in Belarus Tzevy Mirkin in Minsk on 27 November, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The meeting took place on the 150^th anniversary of the birth of Chaim Weizmann, a famous native of Belarus and the first president of Israel. The parties discussed topical issues of the Belarusian-Israeli dialogue and cultural cooperation.

The parties confirmed the mutual interest in intensifying contacts to promote practical cooperation in various areas.
