MINSK, 28 September (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Finland Alexander Ostrovsky and Director General of the Department for Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland Maimo Henriksson discussed ways to expand interparliamentary and humanitarian cooperation, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed items on the bilateral political and economic agenda, the cooperation between Belarus and the European Union, and also issues related to the cooperation between Belarus and Finland in international organizations.

Special attention was paid to the organization of joint events to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the countries.
