MINSK, 21 November (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with a delegation of the Political and Security Committee (PSC) of the Council of the European Union during its first visit to Belarus on 21 November, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed the current issues of the cooperation between Belarus and the European Union.
The Political and Security Committee is a Committee of the Council of the European Union dealing with the common foreign and security policy. The PSC is based in Brussels and composed of ambassadors of the 28 EU member states. It is chaired by representatives from the European External Action Service. Walter Stevens of Belgium currently chairs the Political and Security Committee.
