Belarus-Egypt joint trade commission to meet in Minsk

MINSK, 8 January (BelTA) – Belarus’ Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Egypt Yevgeny Sobolevsky met with Abdel Aziz El-Sherif, First Undersecretary of the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Head of the Egyptian Commercial Service, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The meeting focused on the schedule of visits at the highest and high levels. The parties also paid considerable attention to preparations for the 8th meeting of the Belarusian-Egyptian joint trade commission in Minsk (the previous meeting was held in Cairo in 2023).

“The talks placed special emphasis on matters of industrial cooperation, including the resumption of Belarusian agricultural machinery assembly operations in Egypt,” the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
