Belarus, Egypt confirm mutual support in international arena

MINSK, 5 April (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Egypt Sergei Terentyev met with Assistant Foreign Minister for Multilateral Affairs and International Security of Egypt Ehab Badawy on 4 April, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy in Cairo.

The parties discussed cooperation between Belarus and Egypt in international organizations. The Belarusian diplomat and the Egyptian deputy foreign minister emphasized mutual support and constructive cooperation between the two countries on the global agenda.

The talks also touched upon food security. The parties also discussed the risks associated with the sanctions policy and unilateral actions of certain countries.
