Belarus condemns latest terrorist attacks in Afghanistan

MINSK, 11 January (BelTA) – Belarus resolutely condemns any forms and manifestations of terrorism and expresses support for efforts of the international community to fight terrorism and extremism, BelTA learned from the statement released by the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in wake of the latest act of terror in Afghanistan.

According to the source, with pain at heart Belarus received the tragic news about the terrorist attacks that took multiple human lives in Afghanistan on 10 January.

“Due to actions of the terrorists dozens of people died, including members of the UAE delegation on a humanitarian mission. The UAE ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Afghanistan was among the victims,” the statement reads. “We sincerely condole with friends and families of the dead and wish speedy recovery to the injured.”
