Belarus’ CIS presidency discussed in Moscow

MOSCOW, 12 January (BelTA) - Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Vladimir Semashko met with Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee – CIS Executive Secretary Sergei Lebedev on 12 January, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian diplomatic mission.

“The parties exchanged views on the current issues of the CIS integration and reviewed certain aspects of Belarus’ presidency in the CIS in 2021,” the embassy said. “Special consideration was given to the plan of action of the Commission on Economic Affairs at the CIS Economic Council which will be chaired by Belarus this year too”.
