Belarus, China to arrange humanitarian sciences forum in 2020

MINSK, 3 September (BelTA) – Belarus and China intend to arrange the fourth humanitarian scientific forum in 2020, representatives of the Belarusian embassy in Beijing told BelTA.

The forum’s organization was discussed as Ambassador of Belarus to China Kirill Rudy met with President of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Xie Fuzhan on 3 September. The sides discussed promising avenues of cooperation between the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, including the organization of the forum and the work of a Belarusian-Chinese development analysis center.

A delegation of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences is expected to take part in the Minsk Dialogue forum, which is due in Minsk on 7-8 October.
