MINSK, 1 April (BelTA) – Chairman of the House of Representatives of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko and Vice-Chairwoman of the National People's Congress Standing Committee Shen Yueyue will meet for talks in Minsk on 2 April. Top on the agenda will be cooperation prospects, BelTA learned from the press service of the House of Representatives.
The parties will review the state and prospects of Belarus-China interparliamentary cooperation and other matters of the bilateral agenda. The Chinese parliamentary delegation will arrive in Belarus on 1 April and will stay here till 3 April.
A reminder, according to Belarus’ statistics, the trade between China and Belarus is expected to exceed $3.5 billion in 2018. China and Belarus have been consistently implementing the Belt and Road Initiative, while the China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone became a landmark project of this initiative. Chinese leader Xi Jinping called the Great Stone park a gem of the Silk Road.
